Our entities have several departments necessary to create and market our products. Here you will find an overview of the various departements.

Firefighting equipment

Executive management

Our top executives set the POK DNA; its corporate culture. Upstream, our senior managers define the global strategy and objectives for the modernisation and development of the company while establishing the broad outlines of our commercial policy. Downstream, the executive management oversees the implementation of the objectives set and manages the resources made available to achieve those.

Quality, Safety and Environment department

Our Quality, Safety, and Environment department coordinates the implementation of the company's quality policy to guarantee the final compliance and quality of our products. Since 2010, POK has been implementing the ISO standard.

Human Resources, finance, and legal department

  • Human Resources department
    The Human Resources department has a wide range of duties including managing contracts and payslips, recruiting new staff and of course people development.
  • Invoicing
    Our invoicing team is responsible to issue the relevant payment documentation to our customers wherever they are located in the world.
  • Financial management audit
    The financial management audit team plays a critical role in POK by ensuring good visibility of core financial KPIs to the executive management as well as rigorous stock control via regular inventories and ad hoc spot check.
  • Accounting
    Our accounting department is responsible for the annual reporting for all POK entities, VAT and all financial transactions.
  • Legal department
    The legal department provides advice and assistance to the management and employees. It also monitors the legal situation by studying and analyzing legislation, regulations and case law on a permanent basis. The legal department mainly assists the company in drafting and writing contracts between POK and its partners.

Corporate communication

The corporate communication department is responsible for all internal and external communications promoting the company and its products. For example, the team co-organises events with key partners.

France sales department

The french sales team is made up of technicians who are available to provide advice and technical knowledge in the field. They are supported by a core sales team based at POK's head office, thus offering high-quality customer service.

Export sales department

With a presence in more than 100 countries around the world, our export sales representatives are busy providing technical and commercial support to over 50 distributors in 7 different languages. Our team is capable of forming a network of distributors to stimulate the company's growth.

IT department

This service is responsible for maintenance of our IT system, to assist users but also the design, and integration of new technologies to meet the needs and challenges of the company.

Purchasing department

The purchasing department deals with very diversified requests from our production and development services: raw materials, foundries, surface treatments, finished products, spare parts, etc. In order to guarantee quality, price and delivery time, the team works with suppliers located in about twenty countries.

Production and logistics department

  • Production planning
    Our production and assembly workshops are controlled by our production planning department.
    This service plays a pivotal role in the smooth running of the company's global supply chain to secure the delivery of a product or service to the customer as efficiently as possible.
  • Incoming goods
    This service is responsible to manage the physical receipt of the raw materials and parts necessary to the production of our unique products. Our warehouse staff demonstrates excellent organization skills and attention to details.
  • Assembly
    Our assembly workshops employ trained and qualified professionals whose duties are to manufacture and assemble parts to create a final product. Precision and manual skill are essential qualities for this team.
  • Quality control
    All our products are pressure and watertight tested in the water cabin to guarantee their quality and function.
  • Outgoing goods
    The outgoing goods department manages all the operations related to the dispatch of our customer orders all over the world according to quality, safety, and respect of deadlines.
  • Customer service
    This technical department specialises in repairing faulty or damaged units. The team works in close collaboration with the product development department, the Quality, Safety and Environment department and our various production teams.

Desktop publishing department

Working in close collaboration with the engineering and commercial teams, this department designs all technical and commercial documentation such as technical datasheets, user manuals, product pamphlets, and catalogues. The qualities required are those of a graphic designer, technical and/or web editor.

Product development department

This multi-disciplinary and multi-site team puts its industrial experience and perfect knowledge of the market at the service of all our customers.
Using the most demanding requirements of the market as a basis, a team of 5 engineers and a doctorate in electronics translate those into technical requirements thanks to its industrial know-how to design and manufacture new products for motorised monitors and their remote controls.
Mastering both hardware development (electronic board, electrical cabinet) and embedded softwares (firmware), this design office combines various technologies (wireless, industrial network) to propose complete solutions.
The integration of electronic solutions is carried out in full collaboration with the other product development department, thus ensuring that all product constraints are taken into account.

CRAN SARL


Experts in mechanical engineering

Executive management

CRAN senior managers define, upstream, the global strategy and objectives for the modernisation and development of the company while establishing the broad outlines of our commercial policy. Downstream, the executive management oversees the implementation of the objectives set and manages the resources made available to achieve those.

Product development department

Composed of 10 engineers, our product development department manages on a daily basis innovation or modification requests from our different production teams or our customers as well as the design of increasingly innovative products.
Their activities call on different areas of expertise: mechanics, hydraulics, fluid mechanics, calculation, simulation and onboard electronics, all enhanced by a strong business experience. All plans are made on Solidworks.
The product development department also manages trials of newly developed products via our external testing platform for high flow rates and foam testing, as well as water testing booths for low flow rates. Field tests are also carried out under real-life conditions in accordance with our test criteria in collaboration with our sales representatives and end-customers.

Production and logistics department

  • Production planning
    Our production and assembly workshops are controlled by our production planning department.
    This service plays a pivotal role in the smooth running of the company's global supply chain to secure the delivery of a product or service to the customer as efficiently as possible.
  • Machining department
    Our machining center with its fleet of 24 numerically controlled machines and its prototyping area, combines high-tech and traditional mechanics.
    Our technicians work on processes that can last several hours for complex parts. Continuous monitoring and metrological control allow us to produce fine quality parts from our workshop.
  • Engraving department
    A high number of firefighting parts require engraving either as standard (measurements, controls) or customised with unique reference numbers or branding. The technical team can choose from 5 different machines to secure the highest finished on each part engraved.
  • Boilermaking
    Working on the basis of a technical dossier produced by our product development department, our boilermakers use metal parts to give them shape, requiring a manual skill but also increasingly technological with the development of automated welding processes.
  • Maintenance department
    With such a large pool of machines on its premises, CRAN has a dedicated team responsible for the maintenance of its equipment. This team plays a central function in the smooth running of the production line in terms of continuity and maintaining the quality of items produced on each machine.

  • Assembly
    Our assembly workshops employ trained and qualified professionals whose duties are to manufacture and assemble parts to create a final product.
